Don DiStefano

Don is a retired Detective-Sergeant from Vallejo, California, specializing in homicide and suspicious-death investigations, and recognized as a Subject Matter Expert by the California Commission on POST. He served on multiple specialized units, including the Hostage Negotiations Team and the Solano County Sex Offender Task Force.

He relocated to Connecticut in 2005 and currently serves as Captain and Director of Investigations at Quinnipiac University’s Department of Public Safety (since 2008), where he sits on the Threat Assessment Team and teaches Active Assailant Awareness. Don founded Madison Investigative Services in 2011, bringing over 40 years of combined experience in law enforcement and higher education public safety to every case the firm takes on.

Camille Powell

Camille is an Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) specialist with several years of desktop research experience, harvesting data from public sources, government agencies, proprietary databases, and social media to support active investigations.

She leads investigative support through OSINT collection and analysis, and drafts Freedom of Information Act requests on behalf of clients and case teams.
