Don DiStefano
Don is a retired Detective-Sergeant from Vallejo, California, recognized as a subject matter expert in homicide and suspicious-death investigations by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). He served on multiple specialized units, including the Hostage Negotiations Team and the Solano County Sex Offender Task Force.
He relocated to Connecticut in 2005 and currently serves as Captain and Director of Investigations at Quinnipiac University’s Department of Public Safety (since 2008), where he sits on the Threat Assessment Team and teaches Active Assailant Awareness. Don founded Madison Investigative Services in 2011, bringing more than 40 years of combined military police, law enforcement, investigative, and higher education public safety experience to every case the firm takes on.

Camille Powell
Camille is an Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) specialist with several years of desktop research experience, harvesting data from public sources, government agencies, proprietary databases, and social media to support active investigations.
She leads investigative support through OSINT collection and analysis, and drafts Freedom of Information Act requests on behalf of clients and case teams.
